DateInAsia is maybe the biggest dating site in Asia and is free for all members. It's main purpose is to join together foreign men with local Asian women. The site is most popular with Filipino women and Thai women, but it has members from all over Asia including China, Indonesia and Malaysia.
DateInAsia is a free site and has no secret costs except for the usual Google ads. That's unquestionably a big plus, but free dating sites sometimes attract spammers and scammers.

The site does not have a lot of facilities, but has the usual basic amenities. You can set up a free profile, fill out personal information about height, weight, job and so on. it's only potential to upload one photo and it's automatically cropped to only be a headshot. It is potential to send signs of interest to other members as well as messages trough the sites internal mail system. There's basic hunt options based on location, sex and age, but that's it.
DateInAsia has some selling points, most importantly being that it's free and quite big in Thailand and the Filipines. Also that it's not a great site in my opinion. There's a drawback to free sites and that is that it's just to easy for insincere users to sign up. This includes professional scam artists mostly based in the Philippines. They lure money out of unsuspecting men by trying to get them to pay for a webcam show or send them money for their family or education, without ever having met them. Sometimes, it's not even women behind it but men.
That being said, it's worth a try if you're feeling particularly stingy with your money.
